Tomato Basil Bucatini Pasta

Ingredients:

  • Bucatini Pasta Noodles (Rao’s brand)

  • Tomato basil sauce (Rao's brand)

  • 93/7 organic grass-fed ground beef

  • 1/4-1/2 diced yellow onion

  • 1 diced zucchini

  • 1/2 cup diced grape tomatoes

  • 1 bell diced pepper

  • 1/2 cup diced mushrooms

  • Salt + pepper (measure with your heart)

  • 1 diced garlic clove

  • Freshly chopped basil or 1/2-1 tsp basil

  • Grated parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Cook Pasta

    • Boil salted water and cook bucatini until tender but still firm. Drain and reserve a splash of pasta water.

  2. Cook Ground Beef

    • Heat a skillet over medium heat.

    • Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. Sauté Veggies

    • In the same skillet, heat olive oil.

    • Sauté onion for 3–4 minutes until softened.

    • Add garlic, zucchini, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook 5–7 minutes until tender. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Combine with Sauce

    • Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet.

    • Add the Rao’s Tomato Basil sauce and stir to combine. Simmer 3–5 minutes. Add basil.

  5. Finish the Dish

    • Toss cooked bucatini with the sauce mixture. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.

    • Serve with grated parmesan if desired.
